Review by hotel critic
After a long drive to Suffolk, my family and I were warmly welcomed by the owner, Gary, at the charming self-catering accommodation we had booked. He provided us with a comprehensive overview of the property and its amenities, as well as some valuable insights into the local area, which we greatly appreciated as first-time visitors to Suffolk. The cozy interior of the accommodation immediately made us feel at home, and we were pleased to find that it was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the breakfast provided was delicious and set the tone for our days exploring the nearby attractions such as Sizewell, Dunwich, Walberswick, and Southwold, all of which were conveniently located within a short drive. One of the highlights of our stay was the family-friendly atmosphere of the property. Our dog particularly enjoyed the tiled flooring downstairs and the access to a grassy area, while the private patio provided a lovely spot for us to relax in the mornings and evenings. the proximity to the village of Peasenhall, with its delightful delicatessen, was also a bonus. As a family, we have certain criteria when it comes to self-catering accommodation, and this property ticked all the boxes. the comfortable bed, good shower, peaceful surroundings, enclosed garden for our dog, and well-equipped kitchen all contributed to a pleasant and hassle-free stay. We were especially impressed with the cleanliness of the property, noting that even the kitchen was suitable for preparing meals, contrary to a previous review we had read. Overall, our experience at this accommodation was delightful, thanks in large part to the welcoming yet unobtrusive hosts who ensured that our stay was both enjoyable and relaxing. We would not hesitate to return to this lovely property in Suffolk and highly recommend it to other families looking for a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the area.
